Seraching for family room in hotel

Can anyone recommend a website for looking for a holiday family room - 1 room for parents & 1 for children.

Most websites just seem to offer all wedged in the same room or two completely separate rooms

Thanks

Play around with booking.com, put the destination in, don't select the dates, then select 1 room and say 8 adults in that room, then you can filter by property type and see what shows up.

This will show the largest, then widen the search by selecting fewer adults.

It's a bit of work but should give you an idea.
When you have preferred places, google for their website and check the prices going direct.

Maybe look for 2 bed apartments (AirBnB?) rather than hotel rooms.

It depends where you are going, lots of hotels offer suites with a single or single and pull out for children.

Hotels in Dubrovnik are expensive, consider staying outside.

    Look for apartments or aparthotels.
