I'm afraid there is very little effective legislation regulating estate agents.
There is no overarching regulator you can complain to. There are codes of conduct for the various redress schemes, but they are very weak and difficult to legally enforce.
The main law governing estate agency contracts is just basic contract law. The courts will enforce the terms which are written in signed contracts.0 -
