Nothing much as the 35 days isn't set in stone but you can complain by email to the BPA to give the PPC a slap on the wrist, and then the BPA will reply to say 'it's a one-off error so we've closed the file.'
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • She just received her response from Parking Eye and they have refused the appeal.
  • This will have been ParkingEye's standard "non-POFA" rejection letter.

The Frequently Asked Questions section at the back of ParkingEye's standard "POFA" rejection letter answers the question "I wasn't the driver, therefore I will not be paying the parking charge?" by explaining all about keeper liability under Schedule 4 of POFA.

Your niece will notice that the FAQs section in her letter does not include this question.

ParkingEye's letter should have included a POPLA Code. Your niece's next step is to compose her submission to POPLA (as keeper) and making ParkingEye's non-compliance with POFA the first point.

Well done to you, Dolly Peach & family!

Have you posted a link to this thread, and the 'rational'(!) outcome, in the POPLA Decisions sticky?
