Wooden gutter repair

Hi,
I am after a recommendation of a product to use please.
We have wooden gutters. There is a drip on where 2 pieces of wood meet. I think I need to fill this joint, but we don't seem to get a proper break in a weather and I am not sure if it ever will be dry enough to wait for the wood to dry and be able to repair it then!
So I need a product that will work even on wet wood.
Also something easy to use, as I am a novice and this gutter is really quite high!
Any recommendations please? Tried and tested?
There are so many different things out there that I am confused what is best to get.
Thank you

Problem is if wood is wet and you apply a fix the wood wont dry out and thus will rot underneath any coating
I have metal gutters and I used this product and works I was recommended this by a roofer years ago. I even used it on wood as I built a leanto on my shed for storage in Summer months hasnt leaked one bit
I am going to buy some more soon for MIL concrete porch 1930's and her kitchen flat roof extension. Easy to apply and just use a cheap paint brush and throw away after use

You can also get it in grey, clear and white0 -
Provided the wood isn't rotten, I'd try this.
http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/655266.pdf
It says wet surfaces and wood.
Haven't tried it on wet wood personally, but it is very good.0 -
Ha, thank you!
While reading the spec it said "do not use with bitumen" (which I think might be there too), use weather Mate

And I think this looks like exactly what I need.0 -

Shows it pays to read the blurb! Useful stuff that by the look of it. Let us know how you get on. Might help someone else.0
