Can anyone connect them to anything legitimate?

https://twitter.com/PrizeSquad

Doesn't appear to be any product/website being promoted, only tweets are competitions and mostly high value prizes.
The email domain they use "@tuta.io" is an odd choice for a company and is flagged by McAfee "Web Category: Internet Services, Malicious Sites, Phishing" (doesn't necessarily mean all e-mails with that domain are dodgy but some of then have been connected to ransomware)

(If it was on FB I'd say possibly "like" farmers, are there "follow" harvesters on TW?)

That’s what I’ve been wondering. The only ‘positive’ I can see is that they seem to be responding to tweets posing similar concerns.

Nah, I'm avoiding, way too good to be true, there is no business behind it, feels like it's a twitter being built up to sell.

There seems to be a sudden deluge of similar twitter pages springing up at the moment.

    LOL

Woz thinking the same other day and some have twitter with linked sign-up web pages that I avoid (potential spam emails) AND dubious FB contests too.

Suspicious with any page with PRIZE in title

I won myself with Prizedeck so I post those if I spot a new one as I know they are legit, I actually asked them how they work and they have referral and ad revenue which entices the brands in. Their winners page has quite a few winners I know of from the comping world too.

I can't see anything like that in prizesquad.

  • The account looks very dodgy to me. I have looked through a couple of the previous "competitions" and there are people asking who won the prizes with no responses from them.

I entered one before I seen the link to this post but won't be entering any others with them.
  • I have been watching this account. They are retweeting competitions and then deleting the posts. They seem to be retweeting @winitonline which the same comps on their site.

Still no mention of who won the Mac Book which finished on 20th October.

Going to unfollow and will be making sure not to enter any of their competitions in future.

[STRIKE]Can I ask if it was a good prize?
I did notice someone had posted in IWIWIW a week or so ago but it was only £5 Starbucks or something? ... so just wondering if the lower value prizes are legit so that they can post "Winners" saying "Thank you" or whatever but maybe for the big ticket items, the comps don't actually exist?[/STRIKE]

EDIT : (Sorry, I'm talking about Prizedeck and the thread is about PrizeSquad ... ignore me :) )
  • Something definitely up with this mob. I see they have deleted prizes that they have advertised (Iphone and sweetie bundle).

Previously they were on 23 tweets and now on 16. Have tweeted them asking when they announce winners but nothing back from them at all.

Also messaged them directly so if no response then the account is getting reported.
  • I have blocked them that way there is no chance of accidentally tweeting any of their comps when rushing through comping.
