Morning All,

I'm renting a van for day later in the month to help a family member move. It's from Enterprise, which is a short walk from my house, and the rental cost is reasonable.

I've only ever rented a vehicle once, which was a small car in Australia. (Under a year old but covered in scratches - nothing on the paperwork to say this - when I pointed it out, the guy basically said they don't care as long as it's in one piece and full of petrol! When I brought it back, he turned on the ignition to check the fuel, but didn't even look at the outside of the car before signing it off. I understand this isn't how hire firms work here!)

I'll need to reduce the excess/waiver. With Enterprise it's £25. Through Questor it's £12.66. For the sake of the other £12.44 is it easier and wiser to just pay Enterprise? I appreciate if I use a third party they'll probably hold a large amount on my credit card.

Thanks!
