                    Can anyone help?
I received a pcn back in august 2015, the notice was not filled our correctly. It stated the car was not parked in a marked bay, which it was and also the signage stated nothing of this requirement.so i appealed on those grounds and heard nothing more from them, so i considered it closed. However a neighbour passed a letter on today (my name but incorrect address)
which stated i needed to pay £125 within 7 days or tbe debt will be passed to a collection agency.
Where do i stand on this? My car is registered at the correct address with the dvla (v5c) and have had no previous letters.:mad:
Thanks in advance

UKCPS has 6 years to issue an LBC or MCOL (only after that time is it "closed")

Any advice about them using the incorrect address?0

Yes just the incorrect house number. My V5c is correct.
Im assuming the have used the wrong number on all correspondence. Do i inform ukcps of the wrong number?0

I would. Otherwise you risk thing going ahead without your knowledge - missed deadlines - and worse - a court judgement without you knowing about it.Do i inform ukcps of the wrong number?
Your opening post needs editing to remove any clues to the identity of the driver.
Your third sentence should start something like:It stated the car was not parked in a marked bay, which it was...0

Yes and tell them that the Notice was not properly served and you only saw it well after day 15 after the parking event (if true) so you know they have failed to invoke keeper liability under the POFA, Schedule 4, due to their error.
Enclose a snapshot scan of your V5 record of the address, and say if the error was due to the DVLA then that's a matter between them and the DVLA but the fact remains a letter sent to the wrong address, is not good service. You could also remind them that they have failed to send any letters at all in two years and UKCPS also failed to offer you a suitable ADR after your appeal in 2015, so they have also fallen far short (in every respect) of the CPR pre-action conduct rules, updated on 1st October.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
