Please to make this easier can you only comment if you can do it.

A look at last few years threads:

2016

2015

2014

It really needs to be 1 person who can devote the time to update it constantly throughout December, Someone organised and who can cope with comping, Xmas and doing the thread.

Loads of people will muck in and throw comps at the end of the thread and support you.

If you are feeling up for the challenge pop your name down and thank you.

It would be nice if it was someone new, due to no volunteers last year I took it on for the second time.

If you need a bit of hand I'm more than happy to help you set up the thread.

Time is of the essence we need to move on this quick.. :T

They are still up for volunteering but would like others the chance to step up first.

If no one does then they will take it on.

Thanks Bella, I don't mind doing it (I think this thread is more of a formality 'cause it's unlikely there'll be any other volunteers) but because I've done it before it's only fair someone else gets the opportunity to volunteer if they fancy the challenge :)
If no one else volunteers by say 1st Nov? then i'll start the ball rolling.

('they' is a 'he' by the way :) )

Thinking about Advents, would it just be a pain in we trialled posting all advents with A: instead of E: and trying to keep the title brief, just the site name?, ie:

    A: 12/12 Thorntons

    for example?
Too much of a learning curve? would keep it tidier than the usual

E: 12/12 Thorntons - win chocolate daily (ADVENT)

    type thing

I like that as an idea it would mean that they are together when you sort the board by title too.

Often with the advent the first days prize gets posted in the title and I know to start with I didn't realise it could be something different everyday.

Anything that is quick and easy for the person posting them ;)

The rest of us will soon get the hang of it :D

I'll run it by an admin, see if there's a reason why it can't / shouldn't be changed

Admin say its fine to use A:

Theoretically, if it works it could mean that after this year we won't actually need a volunteer for the advents, everything will be in the same place so the advent thread could just be a link to the sorted forum list.

Just need to try and self manage a bit ourselves so that the admins don't spend too much time editing titles.
