Macrium Reflect boot disk?

Hi folks,

Just wondering for those who have been using Macrium Reflect for a while and have created the rescue boot disk, do I have to make one for each computer or one fits all?

If the hardware for all your computers is supported by the default Windows PE driver set, then the answer is a simple yes. You can confirm this on the Rescue Media Wizard drivers page. If all the drivers listed have the status Device support in WinPE or Compatible device support in WinPE for each of your machines then you only need one rescue media.

Whilst agreeing with hans 2's link, I tend to make a new Macrium rescue CD or USB Flash Drive after a few Macrium updates, "just in case"...

Always good having a spare one or two rescue media(s), anyway!

Also, if you use 32-bit and 64-bit Windows on different computers, I'd make a separate version for each bit-ness.
