Hello everyone,
Today I received a PCN from SR SECURITY SERVICES LTD for an incident on 6th October 2017.
The two pictures show the vehicle entering the car park at 09:28:36 and another leaving at 19:22:41 however the driver visit the car park in the morning to drop a friend off to work, wasn't there for probably no more than 15 mins and then left then returned in the evening to pick the person up but the cameras do not show this and make it as if the car was there for more than 10 hours which is definitely not true.
Also notice has the wrong vehicle reg with the last letter incorrect.
It says the PCN amounts to £80.00 but £25 if paid within 14 days of the date issued.
It has on the back the appeals and complaints procedure stating if you wish to appeal this parking charge notice it should be done it writing & if unsuccessful it can be escalated to POPLA.
What is the best course of action as I already have the other on going PCN going on which the defendant ignored till now and has recently filed a defence statement after receiving a claim form.
Regards

Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the BPA template in blue to the parking scammers. Copy and paste and send.
If/when it is rejected, construct a PoPLA appeal using as many of the template appeal points from the NEWBIES thread that are relevant. Post your draft here before submitting.
Concentrate on the initial appeal now then read up about how to win at PoPLA afterwards.
The advice to ignore has not been given on this site since the law changed in 2012. If you need help with the other case you should start another thread about it.I married my cousin. "Thank you for your letter regarding the above Parking Charge Notice which was issued on 18th October 2017 for staying longer than the maximum permitted stay.
We have investigated your appeal and viewed the details and evidence available and find that the Parking Charge Notice was issued to you correctly. However, on this occasion we going to show some leniency and grant your appeal.
We have now cancelled this notice and amended our records accordingly."
Cheers for the help guys!0 -
However, on this occasion we going to show some leniency and grant your appeal.
Definition of ‘leniency’mercifulness, mercy, clemency, forgiveness;
Just who do they think they are? Not sure which is worse, ‘leniency’ or ‘goodwill gesture’.
Anyway - you’ve seen them off! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done but who do these scamming Muppets think they are!!
Of course they would say it was correctly issued wouldn't they, otherwise they would have to admit that their greatest scamming IT device is fallible!0
