Received 2 tickets for 1 offence

Hi

Would anyone be able to help with my defence. I parked in a resident bay (my fault) at about 9.30pm on a Thursday and received a ticket.

The next day Friday 10.30am I received another ticket for the same offence.

This is with Kensington and Chelsea (London) council. According to them the rules are that the day must change

So i questioned them with the following scenario e.g. 11.55pm on Monday ticket can be given and so can one be given 00.05am the following day as the day has changed? the lady on the phone replied correct.

Would anyone have any advice on the best defence I can put forward?

Thanks

you need to open an account using a gmail email address over on pepipoo forums and post on there with scans of both sides of the tickets

we tend to answer private parking tickets on here , not council ones

Post there after reading a few threads first. No Hotmail email allowed.

You MUST show them BOTH SIDES of the PCNs (all words/small print). Just cover the PCN number and your VRN.

Pepipoo are the Council PCN experts.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
