  • It really isn't a wind up but I don't blame you for awaiting further confirmation, I would too in the same boat. The changes to the T&Cs take effect from 13th Jan and as I think they're suppose to give you 2 months notice of changes, I assume everyone should hear by mid Nov.

Has no-one else very recently opened a 1.2% Internet saver with them??

Can you upload a pic of the relevant page to put this beyond doubt?

To be clear, do they say the T&Cs come into effect 13/01/18 but the DD changes not until 22/04/18?

Opened 28/09 but I've had so many of these recently I binned the pamphlets without reading them

A lot of people of given their thanks to the OP. I see that 17 people have thanked him/her. As this clearly a wind up after the previous post, I suggest that everyone removes their thanks to the OP.

I must say that it was an amusing wind-up.

    Oh dear! :rotfl:
  • So this will apply to ALL Tesco Internet Saver accounts whenever they were opened or to the newly opened accounts?

By doing this and cancelling DDs some of us will no longer meet the T&C for various Annual Monthly Saver accounts and lose the interest by not maintaining the DD requirement, e.g. M&S, Lloyds Classic? If not able to replace the DDs then that's a big loss.
