This isn't a problem, just interested to know what is going on.
I was in a local restaurant the other day where I know the signal strength is much better than my own in a nearby village. So for no particular reason I thought I'd check it out on my mobile. I got a upload speed of 32.34 and download of 9.56. Which by the way it's vastly quicker than I get!
Now I understand this is exactly the wrong way round.
After very brief research I discovered WMM. Which I believe is related to a setting in the router to give priority to voice related calls.
But how does it work if you are effectively standing in the middle of the street with direct contact right next to the providers mobile transmitter?

Quite possibly because lots of people were using the available bandwidth to download stuff when you ran the test, and not many uploading at that time....finite bandwidth up and down, shared between active devices.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Commercial and business broadband usually has about equal up/down bandwidth, so as mentioned above, lots of people downloading, nobody uploading.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
