Probate Required?

How was the legal ownership of the house changed on first death, probate is not always needed to progress a sale.
With LPA and a property that is no longer needed the default best interest is sell.
To get that overruled by an investigation after a complaint would be unusual.
A complaint in the first place would be rare as that would need to be by someone that thinks keeping the place is in the best interest of the donor, unlikely if the prognosis is permanent care.0 -
If the house is sold & you have been dealing with her affairs for sometime then probate is so straightforward it is nothing you need to worry about & should be able to DIY easily.0
