££££££ Border in Word?

Not money saving but I would appreciate some help!

I'm doing a newsletter and would like to put a border of £ signs round a paragraph. I can do the top and bottom borders by typing a row of £££££s, but is there a way of doing them as side borders as well please?

Thanks!

Comments

  • You can do the side borders by using two text boxes (Insert - Text Box). Type the ££££'s into a Text Box, change the text direction and drag into position. Then format the text box - reduce margins, remove border (by setting Colour to 'No line').
  • Alternatively you could create a jpg, similar to this one

    borderrh3.jpg
and use Format | Picture | Layout | behind text
