Faulty Currys PC World product

Long story short...

I had a camera worth £349, typical that 10 days over its warranty (1 year offered by Currys) it breaks. They phoned me up today and offered me £200 towards a new one and they won't repair.

Do I have any action against this? I don't really want to spend another £150 on the camera because they won't replace the whole unit.

Not sure on what consumer rights I have on this. Camera is a power fault and intermittently turns off and freezes, no sign of misuse at all.

    Sounds like a fair offer. You've had use of the camera for a year.

    Why don't you ask them if they would consider £250 if you take Curry's vouchers.....
