Small claims track / mediation

Hi everybody!
ill keep this short and sweet as somebody will be able to point me in the right direction.
Parking control management are trying to recover losses and damages from me as i parked in a no parking area, the area was not clearly marked, regardless Northampton county court business centre are telling me i must file the directions questionnaire with the ccbc on or before 7 days from this service.
my defence filed in short said that no terms were seen or agreed and denied the claim.
the form they want me to complete (allocation to the small claims track) asks if i want to be referred to the small claims mediation service. From what i have read it seems it would be better to go to a hearing as the claimant wont turn up.
Id be very appreciative of your help and comments regarding my sticky situation.
Thanks Huntman40

The first part is reasonable strategy, the second part is dangerously presumptuous. From what i have read it seems it would be better to go to a hearing as the claimant wont turn up.
Please go to the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 which guides you through completing the DQ.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
