Hello, thanks for the messages! First day went well (although I did throw up in the bathroom as soon as I got there  not sure why, potentially just nerves! I felt spewey for the rest of the day so it wasn't particularly enjoyable - BUT I made it through the day without mucking anything up/ saying anything stupid!)

Day two was far better and today was great! It's a really nice work environment and so, so different to a call centre. It's fab. I started off doing some training, but that's been paused now and I've just been doing general admin which I enjoy so I'm quite happy :)

Tomorrow I'm going for food after work with one of the girls and on Friday we're all going out for food :o Looking forward to it, but a bit nervy for tomorrow in case I come across really weird :rotfl:

Am going to have to use the overdraft this month - I've just accepted it :o It's annoying, but after I get paid next month I can clear whatever I've used. I'm planning on sitting down this weekend to sort through my debt and see exactly where I am.
Silver Queen ... that would be veeeeery close to me ;)

It may have been nerves. I throw up in situations like that sometimes...
The good news is it seems like a nice environment with nice people.
    You deserve this :)

  • Ahh I'm so pleased it went well, I'd agree it's nerves I get very nauseous when I'm nervous!

It's great you're already doing social stuff with your new colleagues too.. I'm sure you'll get on just fine :D xx
  • I'm so glad it went well!

That area of Surrey is absolutely gorgeous, it obviously won't be as good as where you were before in terms of scenery but it's still pretty amazing!

Might bump into you up box hill :p

Starmummy and Lucifa73 I'm glad you can *feel* my happiness haha! First week went really well. Was just on admin duty, but it's just a really nice environment (struggling to believe it compared to my last place DIA ). Am absolutely pooped though, going from part time to full time is more tiring than I thought it would be

Silverqueen - the plan is to go up Box hill tomorrow! It is a very pretty place :o It's so quiet as well. Before we had amazing scenery that we could go to, but here we're just in the amazing scenery  Am excited for when the weather turns and we can start going camping!

SSDD23 The last two nights have been lots of fun and not too expensive. Two meals out for £35 which I'm quite impressed by!

Plans for today are to unpack.... I've been too tired by the time I get home and the place is a mess. Am thinking that the unpacking will likely take up all day but if I have some time I want to sit down and go through my bank accounts/ cc's and see where I stand. I also want to meal plan for next week as I'm hoping OH will agree to make dinner for me coming in after work (not very likely, but I can ask :rotfl:)
