Dry cleaner demaged my jacket

Hi there, i need an advice. I am not english but italian, so i am sorry for any mistake.
Anyway I went to the dry cleaner because i had to picked up my jacket but when i saw it i've realized that it was without my buttons. I came back and the man told me that they've been MELTED in the machine because they forgot to cover them. They don't want to give me the full refund for the jacket but he said i can go out and looking for them in some shops as john lewis and looking for a similar button and he can fix it. I told him that they demaged my jacket so they have to pay everything, i don't have enough time to go out around london and looking for a button (well basically are 7)
I have to come back tomorrow. I've already seen my right as a customer and the act costumers 2015 says that i need to be refund if they demaged my clothes.
What can i do? I am having outbursts of anger. I am gutted. Please help me
Thank you

Calm down, it's just 7 buttons fgs.
Don't think you can demand a new jacket when it can be easily fixed with a few buttons.
Can you not take a screenshot of the coat (or one with similar buttons) and tell the dry-cleaner those are the buttons you'd like?0 -
Find a photo of the buttons and tell THEM to source them and repair the coat.
If they do not agree, then I would suggest that they give you a refund for the cost of the coat!
You need to give them a chance to repair it first though.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
