PPC, debt recovery and DPA Question

Would passing your personal details to a debt recovery company against your express wishes knowing full well that prior to any court action/ findings that they have no right or authority to pursue such matters be classed as a breach of data protection?

Under their code of practice, yes they can

Our stupid government never worked that one out.

Any debt collector involved in this scam are just low life vermin
    with NO POWER

Not much you can do but ignore them.
If you contact them, they employ commission earming
baboons to scare you into paying

I suppose if you want to upset the baboons, you could have
lots of fun with them ... but in fairness, you will need a good
    understanding of baboon language
  • Thanks for the response, finished playing ping pong with the PPC just awaiting the DRP/Gladrags letters where my responses are already drafted up and I am working on my draft defence statement in the full expectation this will end up in court

For real? This is big if true.
If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.
