Chamonix Estate Management Contract with New Builds That do Nothing!

Hello. We had Chamonix in Exeter. Was your estate built by Bovis Homes as Chamonix take charge of their estates on a regular basis. Our estate was Chamonix run before being handed to the residents. When you bought the house, you agreed in the transfer documentation to pay to a management company, for maintenance of the common areas. Your plan shows hardstandings and grass areas etc, so your paying to maintain them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. In our case, each house owner owned a share in a company so it was easy to transfer responsibility to owner directors.0

Just a quick update they got one person to start making progress on the site, this individual has also joined our community Facebook page thinking he's some kind of superhero.
He's got everyone's attention and changing their thoughts by the looks of it and Fairfield Company Secretaries Limited have sent out the court threat letters at the same time.....
Every where I search I don't find any court proceedings/action just how many time the directors have changed, endless amounts of different companys at the Hyde Hall Farm address and end of years being £0 😂0 -
Hi, Our Taylor Wimpey estate uses Chamonix in Cambridgeshire. As a freehold owner I have in the past queried the estate lighting charge, 2 years ago this was £35.99 for the period 01/01/16 to 30/06/16. For period 01/01/19 to 30/06/19 I've just been charged £67.89, that's a 91% increase over 3 years?! Also they will charge £24 if the payment is a few days late (I mentioned that I'm prepared to pay a small interest charge) but If you take this up with them, they say it's because it's a 3rd party (Fairfield Recovery). But according to Companies House they have the same directors on both Boards and the offices are at the same premises. And as mentioned service delivery is diabolical! They are extremely rude and condescending when I contact them and their email correspondence shows utter incompetence as I'm not able to get an adequate reply. There are so many complaints about both these companies, why has their not been a class action against them?! Surely with all these complaints the Consumer Watchdog should be getting involved. PS: On google reviews out of 97 reviews they get an average of 1.3. THAT SAYS IT ALL!0

Exact same thing with lighting charge happened to us: £30.16 for 6 months in 2016, then ~£40 in 2017, ~£50 in 2018, and yesterday: £67.89 for 6 months in 2019. If they are not stopped, they will just keep doing this. This can't be reasonable, and I would guess/hope not legal.
(not to mention I can't see any lighting I am paying for. From my perspective it's a leech that came with the house. I though I could live with it for around £60 a year, but now it's spinning out of control. I sure hope someone will pick up this glove and stop them).0 -
1. One way to get Charmonix Estates to take notice, is for everyone individually to take the Owner/CEO ADRIAN POVELY to the Small Claims court. For breach of contact & none supply of service paid for.
2. As Taylor Wimpy employed Charmonix Estates. It is Taylor Wimpy's responsibility to provide Estate services and appoint a management service company. So they who are the one responsible !0 -
P.S. Or which ever developer built your Estate.0
