Parking fine for parking legitimately in Homebase Kingsheath

Hi

I am going through the same as some of you here. I did some shopping in Homebase kingsheath, spend over £100 on plants etc. I received a PCN in April time. I originally ignored it but now it has been escalated and is with QDR Solicitors who have called me today to collect an amount of £260.

i went to speak to one of the managers at Homebase about a month ago but they were not there so I gave a copy of the PCN to one of the assistants who was supposed to forward it to the manager but I haven't heard anything back.

please advise what I can do next. i don't have the contact details of the CEO or MD of Homebase.

your biggest mistake was ignoring the initial pcn from CEL , this means they have trapped you into this vicious cycle and its partly of your own making

you really need to find out who owns the land and complain to them and get it cancelled

if you get an LBC or an MCOL , come back for more advice

There is no way to contact CEL. They issued the fine.

there is no "FINE"

there is a Parking Charge Notice , (PCN) , commonly known as an INVOICE

the contact details were on that NTK months ago

CEL cannot fine you , me or the queen herself , they have no legal authority to do so

which idiot told you it was a "fine" ?
