Hi
I parked at the royal armouries on 7.10.17 to attend an evening event. I am a disabled badge holder and used this to park in a disabled bay.
Prior to this I had been on the royal armouries web site and checked their disabled parking facilities.
I was there form 7.15pm until 10pm and when I returned I recieved a PCN from my parking charge.co.uk. I was suprised as I was clearly parked in a bay. When I looked around their was some rather small notices saying parking was prohibited between 1700 and 0800 although these were clearly disabled parking bays.
When I rang royal armouries to ask about this they refused to set aside the fine as they get flat owners paring their overnight.
I have looked on here and took no action but now I have recieved the NTK letter for £100.
It does state the creditor is VCS ltd. these on checking are a member of the IPC but Myparkingcharge.co.uk is not so whoi is this with and any advice on what to do please.
I genuinely didnt see the signs restricting parking out of hours it was dark and they were high up and about 18 x18 inch
any advice will be appreciated!

they are a "subsidiary" of VCS whose owners also own EXCEL too, so all IPC
the alleged contract is with VCS and it will probably say so on the signage , it should deffo say so on the NTK
appeal the NTK with the black text template from the NEWBIES sticky thread
VCS will refuse this, so after that you IGNORE unless you get an LBC or an MCOL within 6 years
I am afraid the BB does not protect you on private land (I have one myself) but the EA2012 does
so complain to the landowner and state you may have to issue a court claim against them under the EA2010 ( A COUNTER CLAIM )0 -
Thank you
what is EA2012?0 -
the EQUALITY ACT 2012, supercedded the DDA1995 and the subsequent DDA2005
its the law that covers disabled people with long term conditions, like you and me
you should threaten those landowners that you will raise a court claim under the EA2012 for something between say £500 and £1500 due to them not making adequate and resonable adjustments in not allowing a BB holder to park in a disabled bay , contrary to the law named the EA2010
ask them when they are available for court dates and the name of the person who will be their representative in court0
