Flow are rubbish. The statements, when they are there, have readings that bear no relation to the readings you send. They overcharge on the direct debit and when you leave they won't cough up.
I'm watching to see if they go bust before I get my £300 back. Let's face it, for an energy company to be so hard-up it has to hold onto £300 they must be on the edge of oblivion.0 -
I suspect, in reality, all energy companies are similar when it comes to customer service complaints.
We have been with Flow Energy now for the last three years.
The tariffs have been either the cheapest in our area or within £20 of the next cheapest so not really worth the switch hassle.
During this time I have not had any real complaints.
I guess companies are best measured on their after sales service.0 -

Likewise but how do you measure CS if you have never had a problem .Its no good looking at the web as only those complaining post .0 -
I had Flow for a year, I only switched to another supplier as they were cheaper. During the time with them they seemed ok to me, when I left I owed them a little bit of money which I paid them.
The switch to and from Flow was fine, I would consider going back to them again in the future0 -
Just decided to ditch Flow after nearly 2 years. They seemed fine for the first year. The direct debit matched my usage. I extended my term for another year as the new price remained competitive, then they increased my direct debit by £12 a month. I objected to this and they declined to reduce it. I have now built up a credit of nearly £100 which really annoys me as this is over 2 months in credit.
As another poster states, they ignore my readings and make up estimates, over-estimating my usage in an attempt to justify their incorrect guesstimate of my annual use.
I have gone with an 18 month fix from Green Network after using the MSE calculator.0 -
Been with them for about a year. Still only paying 60 quid a month for gas and electric. Happy enough at the mo'.0

Hi,
I’ve not had a great experience so far. Switched to Flow at the beginning of September 2017, but they still haven’t managed to setup the DD. Apparently I’m not the only one (due to a system error around the time I switched). They also seem to have “lost” the meter readings I have been sending in to date.
Hopefully things will settle down, but I’m underwhelmed at the minute.0
