Crypto cash Question $$

Hi all,
Has anybody had any experience with bitcoin as was thinking of buying a few, I know that there are other currencies available but this one piqued my interest when it was launched.
I just wanted to know if there is any way to buy them without using hefty broker companies which all seem to offer the same service when googled/ searched.
Thanks
Shane

You could try doing a forum search on 'bitcoin'. Not unsurprisingly this question comes up regularly and the answers are pretty much always the same0

Thanks, I am looking for up to date info as the market is very fluid with changes almost overnight so the old advice may need a revisit from the op's

Curious that it was of interest when launched but you've not bought or looked at buying any until the price has rocketed a few years later. Any reason? Normally with investments the idea is to buy low and sell high not the other way roundRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

On the other hand, bargepole technology has remained utterly unchanged for several centuries and the use of one would be the approach advocated by most of the posters on here.0 -
I would only put into bitcoin what you are fully prepared to lose.
At the end of the day you are buying "nothing" as opposed to shares where you actually own a little piece of the company you invest in.The instructions on the box said 'Requires Windows 7 or better'. So I installed LINUX:D

I knew about bitcoin but didn't have the capital to invest whereas my recent lotto win has altered that.
Cheers though.:rotfl:0
