Is there a problem with Ebay?

I've just tried to buy something on Ebay as a buy it now. When I got to the payment page I couldn't pay. It said that I needed to select payment type, which I had and there was a red stop sign over the payment button.

There is nothing in my shopping cart and I'm worried about having an unpaid order on my account. Not to mention the frustration.

Has Ebay been messing around again?

Any suggestions?

Edit - I've added the item to my shopping basket and paid that way rather than selecting buy now.

I'm still a bit concerned about my previous order. Where would that show on my account as I would like to check that it isn't sitting there unpaid? I've bought and sold a lot on Ebay in the past, always pay immediately and never had this issue before.

Can I also just say that every time I look at Ebay these days it is incredibly slow and clunky. Not what it used to be at all.

There are a lot of issues on ebay at the moment, the site is failing on various functions (I found a glitch yesterday with SNAD cases).

To check your purchase history just look at your 'purchased page, if it isn't there then you haven't bought it and don't need to worry.

Thank you for setting my mind at rest. I thought I was probably worrying over nothing, but Ebay glitches and their sometimes heavy handed dealing with issues make me nervous.

I think the glitch was that when I clicked the pay by paypal button, the paypal login window didn't pop up. It did pop up when I bought using the basket option.
