Private parking ticket

Hi guys. I received a parking ticket a while ago and I did appeal the ticket on basis that I wasn't the driver and I was at work. The driver doesn't live in UK either. I told them who the driver was and where he lives, now the company asked me to provide them that he was authorised to drive in UK and show them a copy of my policy and the drivers that are on them. I have fully comp but the driver used the car without my permission. Basically I know that as soon as I give the name of the driver and the address they should leave me alone. Can someone advice me in this case please?

hi and welcome to the forum ....
who was the PPC ?
where did this dastardly dead take place and when ?
" I told them who the driver was and where he lives"
this should be enough ... but depending on BPA / IPS
will determine your options
good luck

driving entitlement (obtaining or proving) has never been a part of the BPA or BPA settup , , you have done your park , sit tight do not contact them a gain , if they try court , have all your ducks in a row and ridicule them
also worth noting that if you have named the driver , when the ticket was issued , they should not have obtained your details from the DVLASave a Rachael

Referring them to the response in Arkell v Pressdram *classic*

I really hope people look that up before sending letters....
On to business, there is no requirement in law to provide them with your insurance documents and that would neither confirm nor deny who was driver in any event. It's quite possible, for example, the driver obtained his own insurance cover. It is proof of nothing.0
