My 12th month package,tv and broadband, has just run out or is about to,I'm not quite sure of the start date.
Just rung customer services to be told there's a 1 hour queue and to use other means of contact so tried the online chat and it comes up as continously busy.
Why are communications companies so bad at communicating ?

There's a section on the Sky website on making complaints. You have to phone them !

I've discovered there's a call back option on the website.

Why don't they make there things easy to find !!!
Let's see if they call me :)

They did and the guy was very helpful although he couldn't give me a better deal than VM are offering.
So for anyone else struggling to get through on the phone go to help section on the website, cancel and then sky messenger and then call back .

Use the cancelling Sky number from the website and you'll actually find that waiting times are short (a few minutes).

They'll probably offer you 50% off, straight away. (I refused and cancelled.)

I tried 3 different numbers and all had a long wait time....they probably all go through to the same call centre

I am already on a cheap deal,£32 for fibre and the box set hd package so the best they would offer was £53

A Google search finds numerous websites promoting a variety of premium rate 084, 087 and 09 numbers that purport to "connect you" to sky. These numbers are SCAMS. Do not call.

Report any such websites to ASA (084 numbers) or PSA (087 or 09 numbers) as being misleading.

The correct numbers to call Sky start 03 or 080.
