Recived a C.C.B.C DEMAND for £356, amount of claim £281.05, Court fee £25, Legal representative at court £50.
All on behalf of Civil Enforcement Limited,
For a parking ticket at the ibiss hotel in cardiff where i spent the night, I have the receipt for my stay and a email of the manager stating my car the reg and the date they say i was i parked,

Was looking for the best way forward with this, i did respond to Civil Enforcement Limited back in June 2015 with copies of both receipt and confirmation of the manager, but stil they are taking me to court, would be greatful of any help or advise to go forward with this, thanks

yep, please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, post #2

do the AOS online (nothing else at this stage)

then draft your CEL defence based on other recent defences published on here in the last few weeks or so (there are plenty to read and to plagiarise)

then post it on here for critique

Have you read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread?

Read the Bargepole thread linked from there which explains the steps you need to go through.

    AoS = Acknowledgement of Service.

as above, if you had read the BARGEPOLE post (be stupid not to have done this) then you would know exactly what to do , why , and when

the NEWBIES sticky thread is the 2nd thread down from the top of this forum

    no need to look elsewhere

wait for the POC to arrive , then start drafting your defence

meanwhile read a dozen others so you get a handle on it, picking one that might be useful as the starter for ten

Thanks, what if CEL dont send the POC in the 14 days given?,
the issue date given by the CCBS was the 09/10/2017,
My AOS was given on the 17/10/2017. ?

then start to draft your defence and state that the claimant has failed under the new protocols to issue the POC so its impossible to write a defence without those details

the more they fail the new protocols , the better for you as long as you point those failures out to a judge

ie:- you want them to fail

No idea why you are barking up that tree. It's not even important.

As an aside to the regulars, how is there FIVE full pages of live threads today alone? Almost as if new posters are circling and over-burdening the forum?
