Any info/guidelines over 3rd child.....

Me and the bf are trying for a baby together. My other children are 12 and 15. I know i wont be able to claim when we first have a baby but will i be able to claim tax credits for it when my eldest leaves home/cant claim for her anymore. Ive seached around and cant find any info on this. Just so we know what to expect in the future. We both work, hime full time and me part time. Any info would be great. Thanks :)

Yes, you can. If you are already claiming for your two eldest then you should add the baby to the claim when it is born even though you won't get payment. Then when your eldest drops off the claim, the payments will kick in for the youngest.
