Hi,
Sorry if there is many other threads with the same issue. I've checked some but they seem to be outdated...
I took my son to his friends football birthday party at DW Sports on the 7th Oct 2017. He also plays football here regularly and Ive never noticed any signs to say you have to pay or enter your reg into a machine.
Anyway, yesterday i received a parking ticket through the post saying i owe £60!
Says there is signage clearly stating that you have to put your reg into a terminal in reception. I didnt see one although I wasnt looking for any as Ive been taking my son here for football for over a year.
Any help would be much appriciated as I dont feel I should have to pay a fine for taking my son to a friends party at the venue where I parked.
Regards
Simon

its an INVOICE , not a "fine"
read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum , it tells you how to appeal and which template to use on their site (the blue text one)0 -
Complain as well to DW Sports, although Dave Whelan doesn’t seem to have a lot of sympathy for his (soon to be ex) customers. Nice business model. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Whatever you do don't just leave it to chance. Funnily enough I have just posted about this. My partner now has a CCJ against his name because he thought that he could appeal with it being an 'invoice' parking ticket. We now have a £270 fine to pay which has been passed onto a legal team. You need to look into your options and I hope you can get it resolved without having to pay the fine!!!!!

Thanks for the replies. I will use the template and appeal. Think it's ridiculous how they can do this!0
