Sky Billing

I replied to a topic on this a while back but can't find the thread.

Basically Sky have re jigged their packages/billing.
For me this meant I was billed £90 instead of £32.

spoke to Sky and eventually got someone to understand the issue.
However Sky now dont discount (apparently) the likes of Sports/cinema packages.
so I need to wait another team applying discounts to get my price down to the previously agreed price.

so be aware Sky users with discounts.
If you dont have discounts then you are already paying too much ;)

This was 2 weeks ago, seems they have now woken up that current customers are as important as new.

This isn’t a new thing. Every time you cancel you will get offered a discount to stay. Been going in for years.

Just reading this,I may have put this across poorly.
This relates to my price whilst still being under the minimum contract with my previously negotiated price.
not after the term is up.

I cancelled today and was offered 50% off immediately, but declined it.

They do discount cinema, as at present I have boxed sets and cinema, paying £14 a month and was told it would be £28 if I took the offer.

The cs person did say that if I cancel and it goes off, reordering is straight forward, but I would lose any accrued VIP benefits, none of which I want ,anyway.

I will let it go off and if I don't get 75% or 60% with £100 credit, I'll dust off a Humax box, again.
