When did it all change for car insurance, that you now have to provide your licence, copy of your logbook, dvla check code..... i mean what is all this?
What happened to car insurance, you take it out and thats it; youre on cover straight away? Now they want blood...

actually some brokers ask for this"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Me neither. Maybe you're the one person in 100 they randomly check. Or maybe they're having trouble checking your identity electronically - are you on the electoral register at your insured address?0

I was asked for a copy of my licence last time I took out insurance, never before0
