SUV or Estate?

Comments

  • We have no kids. However we used to have a focus estate. I loved it to drive, but my wife thought it was really low to the ground, dark inside and very 'tunnel' like to the small rear window (is it really small or just really far away?). We now have a qashqai. I hate driving it, however nice and tall, light and airy (though it does have a glass roof) and much easier to get in and out of (and probably easier to load up the kids in their seats).
So for us, estate v SUV = SUV wins (but not a qashqai)

I'd stay away from the Jags, I've been kinda following the headlight LED failure issue (where replacement means £1500 for a new light unit) and I can see this being a bit of a problem in the used market once these are a few years old.
