First letter from Gladstones, please help!

Hi all,
I'm sorry to start a new thread. I really thought I get to the answer reading the Newbies board but feel I should sum up my situation for you.
I received a PCN from NPE in April 2017 which operate on the car parks of my employer. I emailed them to say that I thought the PCN was issued in error as I was a permit holder (I hadn't put my permit in my windscreen on that day). Their automated bounce back email suggested I put all my registration details etc in the email in order for my appeal to be dealt with. I responded to the bonce back letting them know that the ticket reference number was in the email and that I wouldn't be providing my address or other personal details as I believe the reference number alone should provide them with all the information they would need to deal with my enquiry. I had no reply from them. They started to send me letters, then came the debt recovery letters. I finally wrote to them in July outlining why I wouldn't be paying and mentioned that I had contacted them and received no reply - not sure if I can post exact wording here? They told me I was out of time to appeal. I continued to ignore the letters and now I've received a first letter from Gladstones beginning:
"It is our client's case that you are liable for these charges and we would like to draw your attention to the options that our client has in order to recover these from you". They are giving me the opportunity to contact their agent to make full payment of £130 thereby avoiding the consideration of any further court action and any increase in the amount claimed. I have 14 days tor respond.
Is there an appropriate response to send from here to DRP?
Many thanks everyone for your kind help and time with this!

if this is a DRP letter , IGNORE it
read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread about ignoring DCA letters like DRP ones
the time for action is if you get an LBC from the solicitors (or NPE)
or if you get an MCOL from Northampton
the ppc or their solicitors has 6 years to issue those
you say you have a gladrags letter, you dont !!
you have a DRP letter on a pimped out gladrags letterhead with a reference of either 3 or 4 (probably)
gladrags letters have a reference starting with a 1
it could say DONALD TRUMP on the letterhead , doesnt mean he sent it !! (hint)0 -
The appropriate response to a DRP letter is explained in detail in post#4 of the NEWBIES thread.0

If that’s National Parking Enforcement, here’s your chances of appearing in court:I received a PCN from NPE in April 2017
http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/National_Parking_Enforcement.htmlPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you very, very much indeed for taking the time to respond to me, each and every one of you. I feel little more comfortable reading your responses. We'll see what threatening looking letter I get next. You are right though, the reference did begin with a 3. I will be sure to come back if I get another letter. Does anyone know what the next one might say?
It's a shame the link doesn't show you out of how many tickets issues how many of those were paid by people!0
