selling on ebay

I would recommend that you remember to take all your costs into account. I think sellers often forget to take into account the fees incurred on those items that don't sell as well as those that do for instance.
Hope it works out for you.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

No not really. You just need to know when something is cheap and whether you can make a turn on it. As has been said you might find items in the supermarket!! You will find things to sell in the strangest of places.
A few years ago Lidl sold DVD players that went on to EBay and sold for double. I didn't have the bottle in those days to buy them in and take the risk. Now that I have been at it awhile I probably would.
The first thing I started with I bought in the saes for 50p and sold for upwards of £7. It was fad, I was lucky but it dod build up some capital and once you have some capital life becomes a lot easier.
What are going to be the Christmas fads? Can you source overseas (taking into account duty etc)? Are you willing to gamble?

I haven't been to Makro for ages as in my experience their prices on both bits and bobs and food was about 10-15% higher than Tesco or Asda.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
