All the advice you are looking for is in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.

Look for a thread entitled: **NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

Who is the registered keeper of your car? You or your son?

Surely the idea of a penalty charge is to penalise those that dont pay, not those that make a mistake?

this type of sc@m was featured on RIP OFF BRITAIN this morning on BBC1

parking companies want people to make mistakes, then they can charge them exorbitant amounts of money

they cannot issue PENALTIES though , they have no legal authority to do so

the letter was a PCN , a Parking Charge Notice , totally different

post #3 of that NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread deals with popla appeals

its only recently that we got crabman to tidy it up and remove all the unwanted posts , leaving just the main course

nobody is going to help you to write your popla appeal, sorry to say

we are all volunteers giving up our free time to advise other members here

the fact is that YOU do the work in drafting a popla appeal, based on recent winners , adapted to suit

then you can post the draft on here for people to comment on and add critique

until you have done this , you wont get any further, because WE are waiting for YOU to post your draft popla appeal

its not difficult to find and adapt a recent popla appeal that has already been approved
  • ok, sorry - i misunderstood.

Soliciting contact off-board is against the T&Cs you agreed to on signup.

You need to keep all dealings abut this on the board, without personal/directly identifying info of course - this is to protect you from the PPCs who trawl the boards to try and identify victims seeking help and because the same PPCs have regularly tried to disrupt this board by targeting major/most helpful posters.

So be very careful if someone now sends you a PM offering help.
