Land registry almost 3 months waiting??

The completion date of my property was on the end of July 2017. I have moved in a big while now.
Until now, I have not got Land Registry Title Deeds yet.
My solicitor just checked with the land registry and update me that the land registry is still working on the application.
How long normally it may take to get this process done?
I checked on zoopla sold price properties. The properties that have been completed in the end of August have been shown already.
Is it slow because I bought the probate property? Should I worry, or this is normal process?
Thanks a lot.

We bought our house in April and only just got our land registry so that took around 5 months so I wouldn't worry!
Ours was a first registration although an old house was last sold in 1970s

Is it a first registration? That takes a lot longer than a simple ownership transfer.0

We completed last Friday in June. Haven't received anything yet but I'm sure we will eventually0

Everything gets backdated to when the application was originally submitted, so there's no great importance to how long it takes for them to process it. If anybody else tried to do something with the property, they'd effectively have to join the queue behind you.0

I'm guessing yours is a first registration as it involves probate and has taken this long. The current average timescale for that type of application is around 67 working days
We have a backlog of certain types of application and the delay is invariably the wait time between receipt and consideration.
Price paid details are added to our data on receipt so can appear on third party sites before the registration is complete
As long as we have the application and the solicitor is still engaged then there should be nothing to worry about.“Official Company Representative

This is my first property.
I think the property has been registered before. I saw the previous owners' names on deeds in 2008.
There were 2 owners, but one has passed away. The other is one is still alive.
The one who is still alive is also one of the executors.0 -

If it was already registered then I can't see why there should be a hold up still.“Official Company Representative

Deeds have always existed, even 100 years ago, long before electronic LR Registration!
Another possibility is some query over the Probate which might be delaying things, though your conveyancer should have ensured there were no Probate issues before Exchanging.0 -
We put a reservation on a shared ownership new build property at the start of July, the application for the land registry had been put in before this by the housing association and we are still waiting for the registration to come back to the housing association so we can complete the purchase, there seems to be a ridiculously long backlog at the moment and longer than the 67 day average.0
