Appealing 3 Parking charges. Help Appreciated!

Hi Guys,

I have been given 3 separate £100 parking charges for 3 consecutive days of parking at my local train station without buying a ticket. These notices came via post about a week later and the company that issued them is Britannia. Its been about 20 days now since i got the first notice.

I just wanted a bit of advice, having read through all of the newbies thread i am looking to appeal them and use the information on there to do it, however i just wondered, would it make it more likely for popla to reject my appeal given that there is 3 tickets? Would this make britannia more likely to put all their efforts into winning the case? so to speak.

Also would I make 3 separate appeals?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

yes you make 3 separate appeals

as its a railway station then BYLAWS apply so if you read up on recent TOC and station and bylaws threads you will see that as keeper you are not liable so that would be the first option of any popla appeal

use the blue text "as is" , no alterations , three times , appealing as KEEPER

if you dont understand this reply , read a dozen or more railway station threads like INDIGO , APCOA etc until you get the idea

also read the last APCOA decision listed in the POPLA DECISIONS thread posted today , APCOA threw the towel in due to a robust "bylaws" appeal
  • Many thanks for your quick reply. I have just checked the Notice again and it only shows my vehicle entering and leaving the car park, no photo evidence of my car parked up.

Is this something i should use against them? If so, should I mention this in the appeal or wait until POPLA stage?

as I said earlier , use the blue text appeal "as is" , NO ALTERATIONS

    SAVE YOUR AMMO FOR POPLA

parking companies rarely monitor parking , they usually measure and monitor TIME ON SITE

    the more railway threads
you read , the more you will learn

the TOC has 6 months to take you to magistrates court , but they never do
