WTMA - I know, and then this weekend it's the Six Nations...

Got the bedroom and bathroom blitzed, kitchen and lounge still to sort out.

Only spend today was £6 to send my old insurance documents to Ireland recorded delivery.

Time to look over the February list and see how much I have to get done.... wish me luck!

    - Get / do something nice for former neighbour who is letting us use her storage space Done and she loved it :)

Not enough blue writing on that list but I've had very little 'silly' spending, and although I've had to use the CC because I'm still waiting on several payments  (putting together savings for cashflow is a big priority once I'm back in the black) I have a plan in place to pay this off in the next two months so I'll be debt free again by the end of April.

In other news, I've referred myself to a local counselling service finally so I'm waiting to hear back from them.

The business isn't where I want it to be yet, but in general I'm feeling more positive about life. Moving back home was a good decision xx

Ok kitchen done, lounge done, paperwork [Inearly[/I] finished, baby shower activities sorted BUT none of the decorations have arrived :eek::eek: so tomorrow is going to be just a little more hectic than I'd planned while I run around like a blue a$$ fly getting everything that I calmly ordered a month ago  ah well, a mad few hours then I can meet my friend to watch the rugby and head to hers ready to sort out the shower on Sunday morning!

Just checking in, sounds like you have been extremely busy!

    Just a bit :D

After the stress of getting the baby shower sorted last minute, it was a big success and my friend loved it :j naturally the decorations I ordered a month ago started arriving the day after the party :rotfl:so they'll be going up on my local buy/sell/swap page when I'm home next.

First pay packet for the new job has arrived so just put £176.69 onto the credit card and need to send over some money to mum. And a payment of £48 from Topcashback has arrived. Still need to sort out my paypal account for Prolific AC but when I do I'll have nearly £20 to transfer over

The job's going really well - couple of small rookie errors but I'm well supported, and aside from daily battles with the French chefs (who find me difficult because I'm a vegetarian haha) life on board is nice, if a little dull at times. I'm making the most of the free gym - currently have very sore legs! - and I'm really trying to work on my French so I can chat to everyone.

Aside from a lack of gigs, I did really well on my February list. Getting gigs is difficult without a promo video, but I'm in talks with a studio to get that done next time I'm home in March.

To do this month (this is quite short and will definitely be added to!):

    - promo video
    - research agencies further and showcases
    - look into children's publishers
    - look into joining local children's writers group
    - learn 10 new songs for vintage act
    - work out 10 times
    - call 100 new homes
    - follow up on every home I've contacted so far
    - keep going over and over finances
    - start putting together non-vintage act

Off to an equally chilly France again this evening, so au revoir for now!

Can I recommend using circle rather than paypal for Prolific, purely to give yourself more of your money. Circle don't charge a fee whereas paypal you lose some of your hard earned cash. I've had 3 or 4 cash outs using circle with no issues whatsoever.

Have a lovely time in France!

  • I use circle for Pa too, that's the only thing I use it for.
