Was looking at this thread for some advice... my trouble is that I simply don't do enough printing to warrent the extra outlay for a laser printer, but when I do print, I need high quality colour... ho hum
I have a super little Canon mixpar mfd, which has got thoroughly fed up with me ignoring it! I guess I attempt to print maybe once every 6 weeks.
looking at the link below, if using one of the select hp printers you can get 15 pages a month free, which overs your needs.
https://instantink.hpconnected.com/uk/en/rAlthough you only print once every 6 weeks, would recommend you print more often as it would be free, but nore inmportantly stops the head from drying out.

Hello all I need some recommendations. Other than epsom printers can anyone recommend a cheap printer to run. My budget is about £80, maybe a tad higher

    Thanks in advance

If it's B & W only, go for Laser printers. Nothing can beat them for price (I bought a HP Laserjet 4350 on Fleabay for £99), it will print another 4000 pages in B&W before I need to replace the toner on it

If it's colour, I'd probably go for Epsom as they have seperate tanks IIRC and I believe a small inkjet technology

I haven't printed in colour for years tbh, waste of money to me

If you're printing occassionally you don't want separate inks, they tend to be more expensive than combination ink cartridges and if you only use occassionally you will be replacing all the cartridges when they clog up, not when they run out of ink.
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.
