Looks like sloppy drafting to be honest, I can't believe they intended to waive charges for those who don't use the account as a current account by setting up DDs (and the other criteria for earning cashback), as this would be entirely counterintuitive (and contrary to usual practice in other banks), so I'd suggest they didn't do a very good job of cutting and pasting the Ts & Cs from the main 1-2-3 account!0 -
FWIW my wife has a light account that has never had the monthly fee deducted, I have also read reports of people having a 123 account and not been charged if there is no DD's setup on it but you don't get the interest either .0

You are right!! but if posts were kept about the thread in which they are posted, there would be no need to move posts, it was not only off topic it was on the savings sub board, and not banking, so even if it was on topic it was in the wrong sub board.
its not the first time that thread has gone of tangent for a few pages, and its a popular thread and should be kept for the purpose it was started.
I agree with you and hopefully there will be no reason to move any more posts, (that runs to two pages, not just a few posts)
