Hi All,
Am looking for a new Home Camera system to put outside the house, Front, side and rear.
I'd possibly prefer a wireless system to avoid having wires everywhere.
I would also like a playback feature and to be able to use an App on my phone to watch it as and when it detects movements.
My budget is around £300, any suggestions at all?
Thanks!!

You would think that a wireless system should have less wires, but often they don't.
You need to supply power to the camera in its fitted location, doesn't take much to run a dual power and video feed cable instead.
Lots of cheap home security boxes for sale, maplins sell a complete kit for the money your looking to spend. But the same kit is half the price on ebay. Just without the Maplins branding and warranty.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Arlo - but it's a bit over your budget
Battery-operated wireless cameras connect to a base station which in turn connects to your BB router.
Motion-acitvated, or you can watch live remotely via phone or pad (android or iOS).
Various scheduling options, cameras can be on timer, activate when you leave the house, etc.
Battery life for us has been around a year for each camera set. We've used the Panasonic 'Industrial' branded batteries, as were supplied with the cameras as new.0 -
Make sure it's HD, preferably 1080p AHD.
You should be able to find what you want.
I would go for a wired system, it shouldn't be too hard to lay the wires if you position the cameras well. If you mount the cameras near the roofline you can run the cables into the loft and have your equipment up there.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
