Totally confused now on what to do next if anything

Please forgive me starting a new thread but I am completely struggling after reading so much info on BMP, pepipoo and this forum, what I should or could do .. I will try to make this short... My husbands car (who is dyslexic hence i am helping him) got a Care Parking PCN screen ticket in May stating reason ' non-patron' and he e mailed them stating he was not the driver, and in a subsequent e-mail stated he was in Macdonalds and the Range with times and copies of the receipts for both places at the times stated on their pictures of the car. 17th August received a NTK, ([ this is over 70 days after the PCN ) , which he wrongly thought didnt think he could appeal as it was so long after the PCN... 2 DRP letters followed, the last one stating it will advise their client to take court action, Should I still try to appeal to Care Parking online , and/ or write to DRP , and ask for more details of the cause of action and state that they have not complied with POFA 4 re- time limit exceeded to send NTK thus cannot hold the keeper liable.?? I am at a loss Many Apologies, I still cannot find 'Newbies thread' and have spent days on this for him

come back if you get an LBC or an MCOL in the post within the 6 year window from when the initial pcn was issued

Thank you so much Redx for your speedy reply. Huge Apologies, s...s law I found the newbies thread after i had posted ! I think i will write to the Range formally though, as their staff are fed up with people going in and complaining about PCns being issued to customers.

yes, do that , or to the landowner or managing agent

also complain to your local MP by email and ask him/her to support the private members bill currently going through parliament too (by Sir Greg Knight)

if they need this sc@mmers paradise explaining to them , tell them to ask Jacob Rees Mogg and also the mp for Newquay - Steve Double etc

and ask them to enquire why the DCLG have done nothing at all about it despite the public consultation 2.5 years ago (May 2015) !!!

IGNORE drp and the debt collectors , they are powerless

if Care/Anchor try an LBC or an MCOL ask for more help

it times out after 6 years anyway

Most acronyms and abbreviations specific to parking can be found in the NEWBIES thread. It is worth printing (copy and paste into word or similar if easier) that part as a handy reference.
