Parking ticket ten minutes over

Just wondering whether its worth challenging this
10 minutes leeway apparently doesnt apply in Wales although it does in Cardiff where I live

I was not aware of this until I looked it up
Parked in Porthcawl and bang on 5.10 a ticket was issued so it was over by his watch not mine
I had actually paid 50 pence over anyway

What do you think
It was at the end of the afternoon and shops had just closed and the car park was virtually empty other cars had tickets too

Doesn't encourage visitors to this struggling sea side town

Who issued this ticket?

If it is a legit/council ticket then you need to take this to the Pepipoo Forum for best help - Sign-up with something other than a Hotmail addy and be prepared to provide all the info they ask for with personal details removed.

If its from a private company, start by having a careful read of the Newbies Sticky at the top of the Parking Tickets forum - it will inform you and lay-out the various options for seeing it off.

Then PM a board guide and get this thread moved-over!

I thought Cardiff was in Wales.

Also if you are going to argue there should have been 10 mins grace period and the ticket was issued at 10 past this would appear to have been followed.
