Following a gap of several months without contact it seems my 'case' has appeared at the top of Excel Parking's database again.

Received a letter from Excel with an introduction letter from BW Legal, stating that as the keeper has failed to make arrangements to pay the account balance they have instructed BW Legal regarding payment of the outstanding balance and associated costs of £54.00.

Do I ignore this and await the onslaught of further begging letters before doing anything at this stage?

You've told us nothing about your case so it's difficult to advise.

Read the NEWBIES thread in detail.

You're at debt recovery stage, usual advice is to ignore until you get a letter before claim. But with bw legal it's a good idea to send them a 'sod off' letter early on denying any liability.

Loads of Excel/ bw legal threads on the forum for you to research
  • thanks for the quick response Lamilad - in a nutshell, driver parked at a retail park no longer operated by Excel, they are now pursuing the keeper for alleged non purchase of a ticket

Hmmm sounds familiar... I wonder if this is Cavendish Retail Park?

Have you ever contacted Excel about the PCNs? If so what has been said?

Do you know why Excel no longer act as vermin for the car park ?

BWLegal are well known to take on cases for Excel which they
    know nothing about

Do as Lamilad says, AS THE KEEPER ONLY, deny the debt and request proof.

    NEVER EVER NAME THE DRIVER
  • Yes Lamilad - Cavendish, now operated by GR24 after Excel were given the boot by the landowner. I already sent the 'sod off' letter to BWL (thanks to coupon-mad!) many months ago and they put my case on hold at the time - it seems they are back for another go

So why have you started a new thread with a new username?

Why didn't you just update your previous thread with this information and keep everything in one place as per forum rules: one issue > one thread?
  • My apologies I didn't know that . Should I revert to the old thread or keep going from this point forward?
