Fire HD 10 Tablet with Alexa Hands-Free Any good?

Hi All,

Christmas is fast approaching, I was thinking of buying my children the Fire HD 10 tablet. Have any of you bought your children this? I mean my main reason is it's 10x cheaper than an Ipad but does similar stuff, I've read some reviews on it here: goo.gl/znbTZR and it's been rated high but I wouldn't mind some feed back from you lot

Depends how old the children are and whether they will be happy with the Amazon app store or whether they will be upset when their friends access the apple or android stores which have a much wider range of apps.

And the adverts... Costs extra to remove the adverts.

Don't worry about access to Play store,got sorted on my Fire tablet in 5 mins.(plenty of instruction on the net).The 'Ads' are only a flash screen that comes up on 'wake up',1 scroll up and its gone.
