TalkTalk Withdrawing Talk2Go App

Unlike its competitors who have similar apps, TalkTalk is withdrawing its popular Talk2Go app for all its UK customers:

TalkTalk will not be replacing this app with an alternative and has not stated what rebate is due to customers.

what does it do ?

Allows customers to make outgoing calls via WiFi/mobile data which are included in their landline package. If you have unlimited UK/mobile calls, you can use that via the app which saves using mobile minutes or even needing a more pricey plan.

It also has a "follow me" feature for incoming landline calls to be diverted to the mobile while out and about. Again - no charge.
