Penalty Charge Notice - Tower Hamlets

Hi All,
Hoping you can help please.
I have a received a Penalty Charge Notice from Tower Hamlets Council, contravention code 62:
'Issued by civil Enforcement Offier xx who had reasonable cause to believe that the following parking contravention had occurred:
Parked with one or more wheels on or over a footpath or any part of a road other than a carriageway.'
This was on a single yellow line which is permitted on a Saturday in Tower Hamlets.
I am very surprised to have received this PCN as I do not believe that I have parked on the pavement at all. In fact, many local residents and/or visitors park their cars there during the weekend.
I would really appreciate your view on whether the PCN is valid and grounds for appealing this.
The first 3 links below show my car.
The 4th link is taken from Google maps. I was parked in a similar position to the blue van. As you can see, if you park closer to the left you will end being in the middle of the road and blocking it!
