You could also add Ghostery, which blocks trackers.
(If supported on Edge - I use Firefox...)

Edge loads quickly, but after that the experience is poor.

Use Firefox or Opera or Chrome instead, and uBlock Origin here also, if you want to really block stuff then NoScript also.

Edge is not a rebadged version of Internet Explorer. It is a completely new program from the ground up.

Yes, I believe you. I could not have done better, but I am not a programmer and it is not my job... However after 11 versions and twenty odd years to get browser(s) to work and be secure and stop people taking the P, and is still not right, even if it is from the ground up or not, does not bode well which ever way you cut it.

They should have just dug a deep hole and buried it, or set it up as a new product marketed by a different subsidiary company.


At work we even install two browsers (chrome), because no one has any faith in it.
